Phil believes in helping his clients by listening attentively to their needs and understanding their financial goals along with identifying their concerns. His mission is to help his clients attain financial freedom and peace of mind by spending time with them to truly understand their financial picture. Based on his client’s needs, he will create an investment allocation for them along with a proactive, holistic wealth plan that will help them make informed financial decisions throughout their life and achieve their financial goals.

Phil deeply cares about his clients and is always willing to go the extra mile for them. He forms such a deep relationship with his clients that many of them consider him family or a close friend. He always puts his clients first and will advise them to do what is in their best interest. He is looking for clients that want to have a life long relationship with their advisor. Phil’s niches include working with professional athletes, doctors, farmers, business owners and other professionals going into retirement.

Phil grew up on a farm in western Nebraska, near Ogallala, where he learned the importance of hard work, family and responsibility. Phil graduated summa cum laude from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics and received his Master’s degree from Valparaiso University. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a financial advisor, as an educator, and at the Chicago Board of Trade. Phil has earned his Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation. Phil’s Christian faith has played an important role in shaping his values and his outlook on life. He believes deeply in giving back to the community and is an active member of the TeamMates youth mentoring program. He was also a past recipient of the Big Brother of the Year award and spent two years serving inner city youth in Chicago, along with teaching freshmen at Papillion-La Vista South High School for another two years. He recently was the keynote speaker at Broken Bow’s 2013 Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet and has been a guest speaker for the Husker football team the past few years to talk to them about personal finance.

Phil enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and his wife, Elishia. He loves to watch movies, read, work out, and watch sports, too.
I am a wealth advisor because I want to help people reach their financial goals and help them make educated decisions regarding their finances through a comprehensive wealth plan that will help them attain peace of mind about their financial future.
