Shane was a financial advisor at a local bank for nearly ten years prior to joining Allen Capital Group. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He graduated with honors from Wayne State College where he earned a degree in business administration with an emphasis in both finance and economics, and won the “Outstanding Business graduate” award for his graduating class. Shane holds the Series 63, and 66 securities licenses.
Growing up in the tight-knit community of Bertrand, NE contributed to Shane’s strong work ethic and commitment to be personally accountable to his clients. He and his wife, Leah, live in Grand Island with their two children and value the relationships they’ve built within the community. Shane also enjoys Nebraska football, motorsports, and spending time with family and friends.
Shane currently serves as a board member of the Stuhr Museum Foundation and Treasurer of the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation. He’s also served as the Treasurer & Ethics Officer for the Heartland United Way and as president of the Grand Island Kiwanis Club.
