Laura joined Allen Capital Group in August 2015; as the firm’s Estate Planning Coordinator, she works closely with clients to prepare estate plans that align with their personal circumstances and long-term goals. She also assists with the firm’s compliance efforts. She graduated cum laude from Doane College with a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in accounting. Before joining Allen Capital Group, she spent 10 years between public accounting and the banking industry.
Laura lives outside of Hastings with her husband, Curtiss, and their three children, twin sons Riley and Logan, and daughter Cassidy. She is deeply committed to her family and values creating meaningful experiences together, often through travel. Outside the office, life is often centered around youth sports, whether she’s coaching, cheering from the sidelines, or serving as team mom across baseball, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and shooting sports.
