Lorena Beckius is a Client Service Manager at Allen Capital Group, where she combines her background in Business Administration and Marketing with a passion for delivering exceptional client service. A lifelong advocate for community engagement, Lorena’s leadership extends well beyond the office through her deep involvement with Rotary International.
Originally from Ambato, Ecuador, Lorena’s commitment to service began at age 17 as a Rotary Youth Exchange student in Ogallala, Nebraska—an experience that shaped her life and career and was featured in Rotary Magazine. It was during this exchange year that Lorena met her future husband, David Beckius. She later returned to Ogallala, joined the Rotary Club that hosted her, and went on to serve in numerous leadership roles, including President of the Ogallala Rotary Club (2019-2020) and District Governor for Rotary District 5630 (2024–2025).
Her leadership has driven impactful projects such as the La Esperanza Clean Water System in Ecuador and the Unity Project in Ogallala, which brought together multiple service organizations to create an inclusive community park. On a global level, Lorena continues to serve Rotary through international leadership roles and speaking engagements. On an international level, Lorena serves as Zone Promotion Chair for the 2026 Rotary International Convention in Taipei and helped organize the 40 & Under Forum at the Zone Institute in Ensenada, Mexico. She has also spoken at the Peace Park during the Rotary International Convention in Calgary, reflecting her commitment to global service, peace, and cultural understanding.
Outside of work and service, Lorena is a proud mother to twin boys, Luke and Landon, and lives the Rotary motto of Service Above Self alongside her husband, David.
