Mark is the co-founder and CEO of Allen Capital Group. He is responsible for the overall strategic vision and direction of the organization. Mark is a CFP® professional and received a bachelor’s degree from Doane University and a master’s degree in Financial Planning from Texas Tech University.

Mark believes passionately in giving back to his communities and has served on boards at local and national levels. Some of his favorites include serving as past Chairman of FPA of Nebraska, past Chairman of Stuhr Museum, past Chairman of the Grand Island Area Chamber of Commerce, past Chairman of the Heartland United Way, past Chairman of Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska, past Chairman of the Stewart Nelson Scholarship at Doane University, a founding member of the Texas Tech Personal Financial Planning Alumni Advisory Board, and former member of the TD Ameritrade Retirement Plan Advisor Panel. He currently serves on the school board of Grand Island Central Catholic, where both of his daughters attend school, the board of directors of the Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation/Grand Island Chamber of Commerce, the board of directors of College Park at Grand Island, and the board of directors of the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation.

Mark and his wife Jordan love to travel and are always thinking about their next destination. His most important passion is being a dad to two amazing daughters, and supporting them in doing the things they love. If he is not spending time with his family, he is probably golfing or on a golf trip somewhere.
